One thing that photographers often hear from clients is “I want something BIG for over the couch or fireplace.” I love when my clients say that because it means they value photography as ART and are looking to decorate their home with custom artwork of their children or family just as they would a painting. To me, a gorgeous, framed image of my children is much more valuable than any piece of art! So I get it!!
However, I often find that people don’t really have a good reference for what size is appropriate. This is why I love helping! One part of my job to help my clients decipher the appropriate size and finish that will go best with their home. Canvas, Stand-Outs, textured, framed, matted or no mat… the options are endless.

Yes, a larger print or canvas will always cost more. There is no way around it. However, as soon as you hang that baby over your couch our fireplace, you will realize the extra investment, and WOW FACTOR becasue you got the proper size, is worth every penny!!!
